The UK has 40% of Europe's total wind energy and yet we generate less than 1% of our electrical energy requirements in this way*. This is set to change with many proposals for large on and off-shore wind farms currently in consideration.
However, both the length of the planning process and excess of supply over demand for large turbines globally mean that these installations will take several years to come on stream. In the meantime there remains a very good case for considering the use of domestic wind turbine also known as home micro wind turbines.
Wind power is a clean renewable source of energy which produces no CO2 emissions or waste products, but not all sites are suitable depending upon location and local surroundings.
If you are interested in the possibilities or would simply like to know more we will be pleased to discuss the criteria with you and, as appropriate, conduct a survey without obligation.
We have models ranging from 0.5kW to 15kW and can meet most micro wind requirements whether building or ground mounted, grid connected or stand alone.
