Solar Air Conditioning
Solar-Venti® is described principally as a de-humidifier, but in fact has many applications, wherever condensation, stale air, odour, mildew or damp is a problem.
One of the most popular applications is for holiday homes or chalets which may be left unoccupied for lengthy periods, but it can equally be used on store rooms, warehouses, garages, boats, caravans.
Each model consists of a solar photo-voltaic panel within an aluminium frame which has a translucent polycarbonate front and a perforated aluminium rear panel. The frame also contains a special black felt mat and a fan to circulate air.
Whenever the sun shines the Solar-Venti draws fresh air in through the rear panel and the felt mat, so drying and warming the air in the process, and pumps this into whatever it is mounted on. The largest model, SV30, is capable of raising the air temperature by as much as 40°C and pumping up to 120m³ per hour.
This model is also available with a modification to provide solar water heating.
All models can be wall or roof mounted, can be thermostatically controlled and will run completely automatically without external power source and, therefore, without cost.
With six different models to chose from a suitable size can be found for most requirements and for large commercial installations a number of devices may be fitted together.
